Phase 3.5 — Segment Routing (SR-MPLS & SRv6)

🟢 Phase 3.5 Live — Validated on Arista cEOS 4.32.0F.

Segment Routing (SR) is how hyperscalers (Google B4/Jupiter, Meta Express Backbone, AWS) and Tier-1 service providers steer traffic across global WAN backbones at massive scale. By shifting path state into the packet header (via label stacks), SR eliminates RSVP-TE/LDP soft-state overhead in core routers.

You will build SR-MPLS Node/Prefix SIDs, configure sub-50 ms Fast Reroute protection with Topology-Independent LFA (Ti-LFA), and implement centralized SR-PCE Traffic Engineering with BGP Color Steering.
